Who Is Kevin Wai? The Man With the Speaker in the Bulin 47 Freestyle

The viral Bulin 47 freestyle has two stars. One raps in sunglasses; the other holds the speaker. That is Kevin Wai, and without him the clip would not exist.

Who Kevin Wai is

Kevin Wai is a Colombian content creator and freestyler, known for filming videos with public figures. With Bulin 47 he did it his way: a portable speaker, a dembow beat and an invitation to improvise in front of the camera.

How to spell it: Kevin Wai, Kevin Way or Kevincito

You will see the name written several ways:

• Kevin Wai, as on his Instagram account, @kevin_wai07;
• Kevin Way, as several news outlets write it;
• Kevincito, the nickname he also goes by.

They are the same person. If you are looking for the clip, try all three.

What he did in the Bulin 47 video

At the door of a restaurant in Spain, Kevin Wai stopped Bulin 47 just before he went in and played a dembow beat on the speaker. Bulin 47 answered with an improvised freestyle, and the two ended up rhyming and dancing surrounded by people filming on their phones. The video passed 50 million views within days, according to the Dominican press. We tell the full story in the original Bulin 47 video.

"Dame hombro"

According to the press, the meeting led to a new track by the two, "Dame hombro". That is why you will see #damehombro next to #bulin47 on many versions of the freestyle on TikTok.

Is Kevin Wai in the AI versions?

Yes. AI versions usually replace only the rapper in sunglasses and leave everything else as it was, Kevin Wai and his speaker included. That keeps the clip instantly recognizable. It is what Bulin 47 AI does: your photo replaces Bulin 47, and Kevin Wai stays beside you.

Bulin 47 AI is an independent fan tool. It is not affiliated with Kevin Wai, Bulin 47 or their labels, and cannot pass messages to them.
